Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in wood finishing techniques including sanding, staining, sealing, and applying topcoats. You’ll be working with custom cabinetry, furniture, and architectural components in a fast-paced, detail-oriented shop environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare wood surfaces for finishing (sanding, filling, etc.)
Mix and apply stains, sealers, and finishes
Maintain finishing equipment and spray booth
Ensure quality control and consistency across projects
Collaborate with shop team and project managers
Requirements:
2+ years of finishing experience in a woodworking or cabinet shop
Familiarity with HVLP spray systems and finishing materials
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
