Responsibilities:
Mechanic that will be responsible for Repairing, assisting other employees with repairs, or overseeing outside Mechanics/Techs on repairs of all farm equipment and vehicles. Also responsible for all maintenance and records of equipment. Will be the lead person on coordinating parts and mechanical supplies acquisition. Scharf Farms will supply basic tools required for these tasks. Needs a valid driver license to operate farm service truck and other vehicles. Must be physically capable of working on equipment in indoor or outdoor environments. Needs to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to make decisions on their own to complete tasks, as well as work well with all other employees to maintain a good team environment.
Work week will be 40-50 hours per week with the possibility of longer hours during peak season as needed. Pay is DOE, during off season times schedule has more flexibility.
