L & M Fabrication and Machine, Inc. is seeking a detail oriented, meticulous, and extremely organized individual that likes a fast paced and busy environment.
This person will work to manage and be responsible for all documentation related to the Fabrication Drawings (no experience in steel fabrication necessary) and their transmission between the Detailer, our Customer, and L&M for approval prior to fabrication. Using our software, this individual will create a log tracking the original drawing and revisions. A Letter of Transmittal shall document the transmittal of all drawings and specifications between the Customer and the Company. Once approved, the drawings will be released to the shop for fabrication. Document Control shall stamp, initial, and date all drawings released to the shop for fabrication. The stamp shall indicate that the drawing is approved for fabrication. Document Control shall also provide the necessary copies of this documentation to the Project Manager and Quality Control Inspector(s) for their use, reference, and coordination of inspection activities.
This individual will work with project managers, detailers, customers, and our staff to timely secure approved drawings for fabrication. Time is of the essence in this position. Must be able to multi-task and handle and organize high volumes of emails.
