Quantitative Strategist - Sports (Multiple Openings)

Susquehanna International Group, LLP seeks a Quantitative Strategist - Sports (Multiple Openings) to build and develop trading strategies and models for sports event outcomes and related tradable contracts; analyze and interpret statistical data; evaluate sources of information to determine reliability; identify relationships and trends in data; Develop pricing and risk models in order to find trading opportunities while limiting exposure to global markets; and conduct mathematical optimization and statistical analyses.REQUIREMENTS:Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. The employer will consider a Ph.D. candidate who is ABD (all but dissertation) as meeting the degree requirement. Applicants must have successfully completed graduate level coursework in or have academic research experience which requires use of probability theory and linear algebra, sufficient to allow the applicant to develop, test, evaluate, and implement statistical models and tools for use in investment and market trading software; and have working knowledge in at least one of the following: C#, C/C, Python, R or MATLAB, sufficient to allow the applicant to develop and implement statistical models and tools for use in sports analytics.Email resume to: applytoSIG@sig.com and ref job code: 202402.
