With a focus on precision engineering and advanced manufacturing techniques, they strive for excellence in every aspect of our operations.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities for the Process Engineer in Erie, PA.:

Develop and optimize injection molding processes for the production of medical devices, with a focus on achieving high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

Design and implement tooling strategies to support production goals, including tooling design, selection, and maintenance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to drive process improvements and resolve manufacturing issues.

Conduct process validations, including IQ/OQ/PQ, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, waste reduction, and cost savings through data analysis and process optimization.

Lead troubleshooting efforts to address equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, and other production-related issues.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing personnel, including training on process-related procedures and best practices.

Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to plastic injection molding and medical device manufacturing.

Qualifications for the Process Engineer in Erie, PA.:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) required; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on plastic injection molding and tooling, preferably in the medical device industry.

Proficiency in CAD software for tooling design and SolidWorks experience preferred.

Strong understanding of injection molding principles, including material selection, mold design, and process optimization.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and GMP.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues in a manufacturing environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
