We need a Lead Industrial HVAC Service Technician in a full-time position focusing on a customer’s plant in Erie, PA. They will focus on identifying repair and replacement needs & installing, maintaining and upgrading the plant’s HVAC systems.

Position: Lead Industrial HVAC Service Technician
Location: Erie, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew of three to maintain and repair Commercial/Industrial heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
- Work hours are 6:30am-3pm M-F.
- Monitors HVAC systems and operations, and ensures that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules and standards.
- Responds to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoots and resolves issues.
- Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system.
- Performs all work in accordance with established OSHA requirements, safety procedures and risk management policies, and reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Documents all work onto tech-anywhere electronic tablets.

Requirements:
- 5 - 10+ years of related work experience. Industrial experience is preferred, commercial experience is required.
-HVAC Associate Degree or Certificate (preferred, not required)
-High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
-EPA Universal Refrigerant and Recovery Certification (preferred, not required)
-Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others
-Honest and ethical
-Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
-Knowledge of and proficiency in all OSHA and local requirements related to all assigned work.
Physical Requirements:
-Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
-Significant walking or other means of mobility.
-Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
-Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

Working Conditions:
-6:30am - 3pm M-F.
-Generally in an indoor setting; however, may participate in outside activities and events.
-The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
-Climbing ladders and working off of elevated platforms.
Job Type: Full-time
-Salary: $30-40 depending on experience
