We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller & Coder to manage our insurance billing, claims processing, and revenue cycle operations with precision and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Submit and manage insurance claims (health, auto, PI, and commercial plans)
Post payments, adjustments, and manage accounts receivable
Follow up on unpaid and denied claims
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
Ensure proper CPT, ICD-10, and modifier coding
Maintain compliance with billing regulations
Communicate with insurance carriers as needed
Maintain accurate, organized billing records
Work closely with the front office and providers to resolve billing issues
Qualifications
Previous medical billing & coding experience required
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and insurance guidelines
Experience with EMR and billing software
High attention to detail and strong organization skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional communication skills
