Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Join our team as a Manufacturing Coordinator - 3rd Shift.Job SummaryProvides support to manufacturing for the assembly process. This will include operating automated vehicles, utilizing manufacturing management systems, continuous improvement tools, and audits. Interacts with both supervisor and hourly workforce in Assembly and Shipping associates. Understands manufacturing and assembly line operations. Direct link in the help

chain to support operational issues.Job ResponsibilitiesUtilization of SAP for vehicle management.

Maintain automated vehicle systems.

Maintain department metrics.

Utilize problem-solving techniques to reduce manufacturing downtime.

Support the maintenance of systems and processes to ensure continuous improvement, world-class-level quality, and a high-performance work environment.

Interface with supervisors, process leads, product engineers, and operators in the development of tools, fixtures, and machines to support existing product and process design.

Demonstrated understanding and practical application of lean manufacturing techniques.

Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and their relationship to company policies, procedures, and instructions.

Knowledge with formal problem-solving methodology.

Knowledge of programming and troubleshooting capability.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredEducation SpecificationsBachelor's degree preferred

Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial EngineeringExperience RequirementsRequired

Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.

Preferred

Good communication and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

SAP experience preferred

Collaboration and teamwork skills

Attention to detail

Problem-solving abilities

Organization and time management to manage multiple tasks
