Overview
We are an adventure-based drug and alcohol recovery program looking for dependable, people-first Residential Advisors/Life Coaches to support clients in a structured, outdoor-focused treatment setting. This role combines residential supervision, basic BHT tasks, and mentoring/coaching — with a focus on getting clients engaged in real-life, experiential recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily support, encouragement, and accountability to clients in recovery
Supervise the residential environment: headcounts, safety checks, curfews, and documentation
Assist and/or participate in adventure-based activities (hiking, outdoor challenges, recreation, service projects)
Model healthy communication, emotional regulation, and recovery-oriented living
Document client behavior and report concerns to clinical/operations staff
Support group, life-skills, and recovery programming when needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
De-escalate minor conflicts and reinforce program rules and structure
Uphold client boundaries and maintain professionalism at all times
What We’re Looking For
Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, coaching/mentoring, youth programs, or recovery settings (preferred, not required)
Comfortable working in a structured program with clear policies
Enjoys being active and outdoors — willing to participate in adventure/recreational programming
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Reliable, on time, and accountable (this is residential work — consistency matters)
High school diploma/GED required
Must pass background and drug screen
Shifts Available
Weekday evening/night shifts
Weekend rotations (Fri–Mon)
PRN / fill-in shifts
