As a Driver, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of equipment and supplies to various job sites. You will serve as a crucial link in the supply chain, collaborating closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure that all deliveries are made on schedule and to the required specifications. Responsibilities
Operate heavy-duty equipment, tools and supplies to designated job sites.
Inspect and perform maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency.
Load and unload concrete related materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Follow all local and state traffic regulations while driving to job sites.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project managers regarding delivery schedules and job requirements.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for tracking and reporting purposes.
Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions to management promptly.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience driving heavy-duty trucks, preferably in a construction or concrete delivery environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, especially related to heavy vehicle and equipment operation.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor as required on job sites.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Familiarity with load securement practices and vehicle inspection protocols.
Bi lingual preferred.
