We are a growing excavation and ready mix contractor in Dallas, Tx. We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator / Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with solid estimating experience who wish to transition into project management.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, and proposals for residential and commercial construction projects
Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
Support the owner in job setup, documentation, and client communication
Track project progress, costs, and change orders
Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite and office workflow
Requirements:
2+ years of construction estimating and/or project coordination experience
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
