Partially paralyzed adult male seeking to hire experienced caregiver/caregivers for two-three different shifts. Must be able to safely lift 135 lbs. I am looking for a male to help me weekday mornings from approximately 8 AM- 12 noon and/or another male for the weekend mornings starting around 9-9:30 AM for four to five hours.
The morning shift involves helping me out of bed, showering, dressing, and range of motion exercises. I also need help with changing urine and colostomy bags.
I am also looking for an experienced overnight caregiver for both Friday and Saturday nights. The overnight shift involves helping me change into my sleepwear, change out my daytime urine bag to my overnight bag and helping me into bed. You will also help me turn and reposition two or three times overnight. (This person could do both the weekend overnight and the weekend mornings.)
Both morning and overnight duties require some light housework chores like laundry, meal preparation, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.
Although not mandatory I would prefer someone who has experience with indwelling catheters.
Again, you must be able to safely lift 135 lbs to be considered for this position.
