Delivery Driver
Are you a reliable and hardworking individual with a knack for navigating the city and a willingness to get your hands dirty? Landmark Nurseries is looking for a Delivery Driver in Coppell! In this role, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering plants to our customers and assisting with various tasks at our nursery when not on delivery routes.
Responsibilities:
Plant Deliveries:
o Safely and efficiently transport plants and related materials to customer locations across the DFW Metroplex.
o Load and unload plants and materials with care to prevent damage.
o Follow designated delivery routes and schedules, adapting as needed for efficiency.
o Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
o Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain necessary signatures.
o Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
o Perform various manual labor tasks at our nursery when not making deliveries.
o This may include, but is not limited to watering plants, potting, weeding, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and general nursery upkeep.
o Assist with loading and unloading incoming plant shipments.
o Operate basic nursery tools and equipment safely.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
Proven experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
