Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently according to DOT regulations.
Manage routes for timely deliveries while minimizing empty miles.
Maintain communication with UACL agents for load alerts and support.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of freight as required.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain vehicle compliance.
Utilize technology tools provided by UACL for operational efficiency.
Participate in available training programs to enhance driving skills.
Foster positive relationships with customers through exceptional service.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid Class A CDL is required.
Minimum of 6 months of DOT regulated driving experience within the last year.
Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety practices.
Experience with manual transmission preferred.
Familiarity with various trailer types (e.g., refrigerated, flatbed) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
