Job Opening: Notary Public, State of Texas

Location: Pasadena, Texas

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

About the Role:

As a Notary Public, you will be responsible for performing notarizations of documents in accordance with state laws. You will interact directly with clients, verifying their identity and ensuring that all documentation is legally compliant. This position requires a strong understanding of notarial laws, excellent attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Notarization Services:

Perform notarial acts, including administering oaths, taking affidavits, certifying documents, and acknowledging signatures.

Ensure all notarizations comply with state and local laws.

Verify the identity of signers using valid identification.

Record all notarial acts in a logbook or database.

Compliance:

Stay up to date with changes in notarial laws and regulations.

Maintain confidentiality of all client information and notarized documents.

Qualifications:

Notary Public Commission: Must be a current, active Notary Public in the State of Texas

Attention to Detail: Strong ability to accurately verify information and complete documents without error.

Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity at all times.

Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and effective communication with clients and team members.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to maintain detailed records and manage notarial requests in a timely manner.

Customer Service: Experience in client-facing roles with a focus on customer service is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Notary Public is a plus.

Knowledge of additional services such as loan signings or real estate document notarizations is a bonus.

Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are an advantage but not required.

Work Environment:

In-person, professional office setting in Pasadena, TX

Standard business hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday)
