We are an established Manufacturer & Distributor seeking a new Administrative Assistant to join our team.

We require a very positive and organized individual in this position, someone with experience who is upbeat and comes in everyday ready to go and full of energy. We need you to be able to answer phone calls and speak to Customers, respond to and draft emails and capture and record Customer details in a spreadsheet and log sales in QuickBooks. This is an entry level position with endless possibilities.

Responsibilities:

- Answer phones

- Take calls from Customers, gather information

- Add orders to the order sheet with accuracy

- Create Receipts & Invoices in QuickBooks

- Charge Customer Credit Cards

- Schedule all UPS Ground by creating labels, as well this position schedules trucks in the MyCarrier system (willing to train)

- Record daily shipments onto the Shipping Log

Requirements:

- We prefer you have at least one year experience in an office environment in Sales, Customer Service, or as an Administrative Assistant

- Experience answering and taking phone calls is a must!

- Read, write, and speak clear & fluent English

- Bilingual Spanish is required for this position.

- Type 50+ WPM

- Basic Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel

Rate: $15.00-17.00/hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Office: Houston, TX 77013 (This is In-office position, No Remote Offered)
