We are currently seeking a full-time diesel mechanic who is bilingual in both English and Spanish for our Houston terminal. We have day shift and night shift available.
This position performs repairs and maintenance on semi-tractor/trailers.
Repairing and maintaining company owned fleet of Freightliners and Volvos as well as outside customers.
Knowledge of troubleshooting diesel engine system with CM diagnostic programs and other troubleshooting techniques
Capable of diagnosing, repairing, and replacing external engine components
Test and repair electrical systems
Repair of all major power and drive train components
PM services
Able to repair, adjust, and align suspension systems and brake systems
Tire replacement, if needed
Engine overhaul
Knowledge of DPF system
A/C System
Minor trailer repairs
DOT inspection
Paccar, Volvo & Freightliner experience preferred
Salary based on experience from $18-$30
Own tools preferred
CDL or knowledge driving a truck and certificates are a plus.
