AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer II for the Surface Transportation Department in Murray, UT. Projects may include the design of urban and rural roadways, interstate highways, interchanges, design-build and more.Work may include projects such as the Progressive Design-Build I-84/US-89 project, other Design-Build projects or pursuits, and other UDOT projects.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Geometric design of roadways creating horizontal and vertical alignments and modelsPreparation of design reports including design study reports, and technical memorandumsCoordination with project stakeholders including clients, the public, utility companies, and permitting agencies.Plan preparation for roadway plans in accordance with UDOT or Local standards.Calculate quantities and estimates for UDOT and local transportation projectsProvides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.Prepares technical specification sections.Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
