Director of Software Engineering

Prog Leasing, LLC seeks a Director of Software Engineering (Draper, UT or remote within the U.S.) responsible for the realization of all tactical and strategic software engineering initiatives within the ERP and Marketing domains. Should have extensive knowledge of retail operations. Implements contingency, and redundancy plans for resources within their purview and align with Governance teams. Oversee the resolution of production issues, follow-on root cause analysis and remediation, ensure quality integration and collaborate with senior leaders to devise project prioritization strategies. May supervise a 4-person team of engineers with job titles such as Lead Software Engineer, Lead Data Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. Job HQ in Draper, Utah; position may be performed remotely anywhere in U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Special Requirements: 5 years of experience managing software engineering teams; 5 years of experience working with one of the following ERP and WFM systems: JDA, Oracle, or NetSuite; 5 years of experience with .NET Framework and Microsoft SQL technologies such as VB.NET, C#, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, or Visual Studio; 5 years of experience with Jira, Confluence, Splunk, XML, XSLT, and JavaScript; and Demonstrated ability with one of the following POS and eCommerce applications: Aptos, Micros, or Oracle POS.
