Mountain MiniSplits is in an exciting growth mode and we’re expanding our team!
We're looking to hire 3-4 new team members that enjoy working in a fast paced environment installing the best minisplit systems on the market. The right candidates for this role enjoy hands on work, are mechanically inclined and who wants to learn the ductless mini-split trade. No HVAC experience needed - we will train the right candidates.
You’ll work with and learn directly from our Master HVAC Technician, helping install advanced heat pump systems that bring fresh, mountain-air comfort to homes around RVA.
This role is part time to start with an opportunity to move to full time. The pay is $20/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead technician on job sites (installations, service and maintenance)
- Carry materials, tools, and equipment
- Drill, mount, prep materials, run line sets (training provided)
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness & safety
- Represent yourself and the company professionally in customers’ homes
Requirements:
- A great can do attitude. This is the most important requirement. We want to invest in someone that wants to work hard, learn and grow within our team.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with basic tools
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders
- Eagerness to learn about the expading ductless minisplit segment of the HVAC trade
Pay & Schedule:
- $20/hour
- 20-30 hours/week to start between 8:00 - 4:30 most days
