Garage Living is a premium home improvement company specializing in high-quality garage makeovers — including custom cabinetry, flooring, storage solutions, and more. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Installer to join our team and help deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Position Overview
As a Lead Installer, you will oversee installation projects from start to finish, ensuring craftsmanship, efficiency, and a top-tier customer experience. You’ll work hands-on in the field while supervising team members and maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead installation of garage flooring, cabinetry, slatwall, and organizational products
Manage and mentor installation team members during daily operations
Maintain accurate measurements and ensure precise installation
Safely operate and maneuver trailers and box trucks for material transport
Operate a forklift for loading/unloading materials (or be willing to obtain certification)
Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and team members
Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations
Troubleshoot issues and provide onsite solutions
Maintain a clean and safe jobsite and company vehicle
Proper handling of tools, materials, and equipment
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in carpentry, construction, or professional installation roles
Prior leadership or crew-lead experience preferred
Experience towing and backing up trailers, driving box trucks, and operating forklifts
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret project plans and measurements
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work daily
