AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to be based in Roanoke, VA.This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Preparing bridge design utilizing hand calculations, Excel workbooks, and advanced structural analysis software to determine applied loading, demand requirements, and appropriate foundation and member specifications under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Preparing technical sketches, drawings, specifications and reports under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Assisting with inspection of existing bridges and other structures.Coordinating with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.Performing condition assessments and site visits as needed. Occasional short to medium term site visits may also become necessary depending on project requirements.
