Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI) is seeking talented Commercial Painters for a project located in Lexington, Virginia. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, are highly motivated, reliable, and can work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities
-Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures.
-Apply caulk in a clean, smooth professional manner within various substrates- masonry, wood, and concrete
-Repair imperfections in substrate using a variety of materials
- Select premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
-Apply paint with spray, cloth, brush, sponge, or fingers to create special effects.
-Ability to work overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements
-Dependable and reliable; able to fulfill job responsibilities consistently.
-Perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, reaching, handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
-Maintain good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
-Able to wear required PPE, including respiratory protection, safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats.
-Comfortable climbing and maintaining balance on scaffolds two or more stories high.
-Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50–75 pounds.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3–5 years of commercial painting experience.
-Lead certification a plus.
-Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel to the Lexington, VA project site.
-Comfortable working on scaffolds and at height
