Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Sales Representative to help us expand our customer base and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential wholesale customers (garden centers, landscapers, contractors, retailers, etc.).

Visit customers with company vehicle to present products, share availability, and take orders.

Provide expert guidance on plant selection, seasonality, and care.

Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring timely and professional service.

Process orders and perform accurate data entry to ensure smooth fulfillment.

Manage basic office tasks including answering calls, responding to emails, organizing files, and coordinating calendars.

Assist with event planning and coordination, including scheduling, logistics, and vendor communication.

Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate inventory information and on-time delivery.

Support sales goals by identifying new customer opportunities and maintaining updated customer records.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and clear communication.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales within the horticulture, wholesale, nursery, landscaping, or related plant industry, with strong knowledge of plant varieties and care.

Excellent customer service skills and professional communication, both written and verbal.

Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software systems.

Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Excel for data management and collaboration.

Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Detail-oriented with accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for customer visits.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
