Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite sushi dishes and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri with precision and attention to detail

- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations

- Monitor and manage inventory of sushi ingredients and supplies

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times

- Creatively contribute to menu planning and development

Requirements:

- Proven experience working in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or a sushi-specific environment

- Proficiency in meal preparation techniques specific to sushi making

- Knowledge of dietary department practices related to food handling and preparation

- Expertise in using knives and other culinary tools for sushi creation

- Strong understanding of menu planning, flavor profiles, and presentation aesthetics

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

SUSHI CHEF (Part to Full Time) - Minimum 2 to 3 yrs of experience. Candidates should be familiar with all aspects of working behind the Sushi Bar, from making perfect sushi rice, to filleting/prepping to cutting nigiri/sashimi, to making rolls in a fast paced environment. They should also know how to work a fryer, and be willing to work in the kitchen. A friendly attitude and the ability to communicate well and work with others is a must.

Available Shifts include -

2 pm to 10 pm Tuesday and Wednesday,

10:30 am to 4 pm and/or 4 pm to 11 pm Saturday

10:30 am to 4 pm and/or 4 pm to 10 m Sunday

Compensation $22-25 DOE + tips
