Patient Advocates Needed Multiple Positions
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Depending on Experience

Purpose:
To assist healthcare providers in securing governmental, public assistance, commercial, and private funding to cover healthcare cost incurred by uninsured and under insured patients. Programs include: Medicare, CMSP, SSI-Disability, Victim of Crimes Compensations, Medicaid, SNAP, LTC, Healthcare Exchange, and Third Party Liability.
Job Function:
Working in a hospital setting, you will be responsible for interviewing and screening patients to determine appropriate funding programs. Ensure required documentation is submitted timely to secure eligibility for dates needed. Consistent, extensive and detailed account follow-up to ensure proper funding and timelines of eligibility and billing processes are met.
Desired background:
AA degree in business related field preferred
Medicaid or financial counseling experience preferred. Customer service and clerical skills required
Intermediate computer skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) A PLUS
Reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
Clean DMV Record
Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize
Full time; Non-exempt
Monday – Friday Shifts, (Day, Swing and Night Shifts)
7am – 3:30pm, 3pm – 11:30pm, 11pm – 7:30am, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Part Time; Non-exempt
Saturday – Sunday Shifts, (Day, Swing and Night Shifts)
7am – 3:30pm, 3pm – 11:30pm, 11pm – 7:30am
