Modern dental office located in the Crown Hill neighborhood is looking for you! I am seeking a warm, bubbly, and professional Front Office person to join my team. Initiative and ability to work independently is important! Tuesday-Friday schedule, with a combination of late starts at the beginning of the week and early starts at the end in order to maximize your weekend. This position assists in the daily administrative tasks required to achieve the most positive experience for our patients as well as staff members. The ideal candidate would have an upbeat attitude, strong attention to detail, familiarity with computers/technology, ability to multitask and quickly learn, and ability to prioritize and address immediate concerns. Experience in the dental field and dental terminology is preferred but am willing to train the right personality!

Duties Include:

Strong customer service skills, both in person and on the phone.

Must have the ability to adapt, understand and continue learning about the constant changes with Insurance.

Attention to detail in all administrative duties.

Confirm patient appointments and complete all necessary paperwork, background information needed to ensure each patient and staff member have all the necessary information to complete each appointment with the most positive experience

Working with Insurance companies on a daily basis to make sure we have the most accurate information possible

Financial presentation of treatment plans to patients and collection of payment, including third-party financing and payment plans

Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work independently as well as with a team

File and organize necessary paperwork

Asking patients to leave online reviews/contribute to practice’s social media presence

Ability to learn/understand basic dental procedures, treatments and the time it takes to complete them in order to schedule patients appropriately

Occasionally learn new software and/or phone systems

Patient empathy and relationship-building techniques

Ability to type efficiently with proper grammar and punctuation
