This is a learning farm where you trade labor to learn in an internship. If you are sick of city life- come do something good for your soul! Farming is dirty work, but the love of the animals makes everything worth it!
We teach you how to milk goats, sheep and a cow, how to care for the animals and help with every aspect of thr farm. Looking for folks who are animal freaks- they do best here because they are receiving from the animals everywhere they go!
We house you, feed you, have laundry facilities, give you a weekly stipend for incidentals ( $50). We drink our own raw milk, eat our grass fed meat, eat free range eggs from our chickens ,make cheese and are putting in a big garden. Will be canning in the fall. A myriad of homesteading skills This is very physical work. We lift heavy hay and milk buckets etc. no back problems or folks who can’t lift and carry weights!
Everyone works split shifts (am & pm) 5 days a week with 2 days off
