Our team takes pride in delivering thoughtful, buildable designs that meet the needs of communities and clients alike. We’re growing — and we’re looking for a talented Electrical Designer and/or Engineer to join our Spokane office.

Position Overview

As an Electrical Designer/Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and documentation of power distribution, lighting, communications, and safety systems for a variety of facility types. You’ll work closely with project managers, architects, mechanical teams, and contractors to develop coordinated, code-compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Prepare and design electrical plans, specifications, and calculations for power, lighting, fire alarm, telecommunications, and other low-voltage systems.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.

Conduct site investigations and assist with field verification and construction support.

Contribute to project narratives, cost estimates, and code analyses.

Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and related software for design and documentation.

Stay current with relevant codes and standards, including NEC and Washington State Energy Code.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.

5+ years of relevant experience in building electrical design (consulting or construction).

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit required.

Working knowledge of NEC and energy codes.

EIT or PE licensure in Washington State preferred but not required.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
