We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and mechanical knowledge. This role involves maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and light commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, roof top units, and boilers.

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.

Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and fans.

Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns regarding HVAC systems.

Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete installations or repairs.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Adhere to safety protocols while working with hazardous materials such as refrigerants.

Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the construction or property maintenance industry.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics related to HVAC design.

Proficient in using tools such as ohmmeters, gauges, and welding equipment for repairs.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

A valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.

Certification in HVAC/R or relevant technical training is preferred but not mandatory.
