Office Assistant (Part-Time) – JEMSTAR Construction

JEMSTAR Construction is seeking a dependable and organized Office Assistant to support our Office Manager and Owner with daily administrative and office operations. This role is ideal for someone who is professional on the phone, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of office tasks in a growing construction company. Construction office experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities include:
Answering and managing incoming phone calls professionally
Handling and organizing emails and electronic files
General filing, data entry, and document management
Assisting the Office Manager and Owner with day-to-day administrative tasks
Supporting scheduling, follow-ups, and internal communication
Helping maintain organized and efficient office operations
Qualifications:
Previous office or administrative experience preferred
Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Basic computer skills (email, documents, file management)
Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with the office team
