General Handyman, Property Manangement Maintenance Coordinator
Full or Part time
This position requires:
1) The capabilityto self-guide your work with minimal supervision.
2) Own and have the capability to use basic tools and some specializedhome maintenance tools.
3) Own and drive your own vehicle up to 100 miles per day throughout MD and DC. MD areas include Montgomery County, Prince Georges County, Howard County, Frederick Countryand occasionally Baltimore.
A) You will be paid for milage, and may need to pick up and drop off keys and materials from the office in Rockville MD and/or home improvementstores.
4) Perform home inspections
5) Interact with tenants to solve and repair common home issues.
Typical tasks include:
Wall repair and painting
Replace or rekey locks
Determine source of leaks
Toilet repairs (internal componentreplacements)
Drain repairs
Garbagedisposal replacement
Smoke and CO alarm installations
Light fixture, switch, outlet installation
Fence repair
Other similar tasks
Hiring preference given to veterans, retired police/fire or previous handyman business owners.
