About the Role:
We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on Building Superintendent to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our residential/commercial property at [property name or address]. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in keeping buildings running smoothly and tenants satisfied.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
Manage cleaning staff, contractors, and vendors
Respond promptly to tenant requests and emergencies
Maintain inventory of supplies and maintenance records
Ensure compliance with safety codes and building regulations
Oversee waste management, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance (snow removal, etc.)
Requirements:
Previous experience as a building superintendent, maintenance technician, or similar role
Strong knowledge of building systems and basic trades
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual tasks
Excellent communication and customer service skills
