About the Family:
We are a warm, busy family of four with two daughters (ages 2 and 5) and one energetic 65-lb dog. Both parents work from home from an office in our backyard. With two full careers and two little ones in school all day, our home is full of energy, creativity, and constant motion. It often feels like neither of us ever stops moving and our number one priority is feeling present at home and protecting the peace and connection of our family routine. Evenings are our most intense stretch of the day, and we are deeply committed to sitting down to a healthy, homemade dinner as a family every night. We need someone who can support that rhythm so we can continue prioritizing presence, joy, and calm in our home. We value a household that feels calm, tidy, and welcoming when the workday ends so we can focus on family time.
Ideal Candidate:
You are proactive, observant, thoughtful, and someone who naturally anticipates needs before they’re spoken. You enjoy helping a home run smoothly and aren’t precious about tasks—you jump in where needed, take initiative, and keep things moving without needing detailed instructions.
You strike the perfect balance between respecting a family’s preferences and confidently getting things done. You have a caregiver’s instinct, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to give and receive direct feedback comfortably. You value professionalism, boundaries, dependability, and trust.
You’re comfortable around large dogs, good at reading a household’s natural rhythms, and able to work independently without adding more mental load to the family. Ideally, you are someone whose life logistics allow for a consistent weekly schedule.
