DISTRICT is looking for an experienced Lead Line Cook to join the team at our downtown San Jose location.
We are a "from scratch" kitchen serving globally inspired small plates, shareables & handcrafted pizzas in our upscale/casual restaurant & bar.
Our operating hours are Monday thru Sunday (7 nights a week), opening for service daily at 5pm with kitchen hours until 10pm on weeknights and 12am on Friday and Saturday nights. This is a full time position with weekend nights required.
This candidate must always be punctual for their shift's scheduled time, display integrity of their craft and respect toward their coworkers and place of work. We are looking for someone with leadership skills who can guide the team during service, communicate well with management and help organize daily prep and kitchen ops through this upcoming event season, sometimes having multiple events at a time, and beyond.
